About the Job
- As part of Global Banking ESG Transition Office (CETO), under the ESG Development & Operations pillar (EDO), the Sustainability Program Officer fosters the insertion of Sustainability in Global Banking activities and decisions
- Reports hierarchically to the Head of ESG Development & Operations (EDO), the 3rd pillar of CETO alongside Global Banking EMEA Sustainability Office and Climate Analytics & Alignment team
- Primary responsibilities focused on the “Development” activities of EDO team
Your Main Activities Are
- Anchors ESG commitments taken by BNP Paribas in Global Banking (GB) business strategy
- Supports the preparation of key ESG committees of Global Banking including ESG GB Boards (monthly), ESG GB OpCo (quarterly), presentations to GB Management committees (ad hoc)
- Supports the Chief ESG Transition Officer meetings (e.g. interview guides and talking points drafting)
- Contributes to thematic research and deep dives on key ESG topics
- Packages the ESG expertise spread across the CIB and the Group and articulates it with Global Banking stakes and market trends
- Conducts investigations and quantitative analysis to test hypothesis or open new perspectives (e.g. on biodiversity, nature, physical risk)
- Exploits available data feeds from external providers and follow up new products releases in close articulation with CIB ESG
- Fosters the awareness and upskilling for Coverage stakeholders on ESG stakes
- Articulates closely with Sustainability Offices in EMEA, APAC, AMER to feed sustainability internal networks with content managed within EDO
- Contributes to the roll-out of new initiatives to accelerate front officers upskilling
- Collects on-the-ground feedback and enriches reference documentations (e.g. FAQ, guidelines)
- Supports the ESG Transition Office operations, including:
- Monitoring of Global Banking’s ESG projects budget in articulation with GB Industrialisation governance
- Fosters knowledge management & sharing across the ESG Transition Office
- Facilitates CETO Teams meetings and pushes internal initiatives
- Interacts with a wide scope of stakeholders including business lines, functions and ITO; as well as Finance, RISK, STFS, Data Offices, CIB Strategy, Company Engagement
Profile and Skills to Success
- Master degree in Management, Finance, Engineering
- Up to 2 years of relevant work experience in Data Analysis, Management and/or consulting
- Fluent in English and French is mandatory
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
