Position Purpose

The IT Integrator assembles different IT components in order to create an integrated solution.
Components can consist of software built in-house, software packages, hardware, network and hybrid IT installations.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

The IT integrator delivers – or assists in the delivery of

  • the technical integration plan / action list
  • the technical documents concerning the integration
  • the assembly package to be deployed.

The IT integrator provides

  • technical support during integration and assembly testing
  • assistance during the development and test environment setup

The IT integrator challenges and optimizes

  • architectural choices and technical decisions
  • the deployment plan of the solution and its associated deliverables

The IT integrator communicates

  • status reports and issues

integration decisions and impacts to all stakeholders

Technical & Behavioral Competencies (Mandatory)

Mandatory:

  • Good practical knowledge of the production environment, both in terms of hardware and software.
  • Good technical knowledge of the specific environment(s), like mainframe, distributed, web, etc 
  • Knowledge of architecture rules and standards.
  • Knowledge of development languages (depending on technical context) - useful for architecture challenging and technical support
  • Must have end to end implementation knowledge of at least two Siebel upgrades including the latest versions IP24 or IP25.
  • Should have strong knowledge on Siebel Architecture of IP24 and latest versions.
  • Hands on experience on troubleshooting the performance issues.
  • Should be able to support both Production and Non-Production environments.
  • Hands-on experience of working on Linux platforms.
  • Should have strong knowledge on email module including the setup of inbound and outbound mails with the exchange server.

Preferable:

  • Strong knowledge on Siebel Migration Application for the code deployments from DR to RR environments, performing RR cleanup and other maintenance of Workspaces.
  • Knowledge of Siebel in the Cloud
  • Experience on Siebel file system partitioning and file system cleanup activities.
  • Working on the Disaster Recovery activities.
  • Hands-on experience of configuring JMS queues in Siebel.
  • Experience of the incident management tool - Service now.
  • Hands-on experience on shell scripting to automate various monitoring and support activities.
