The Global Markets business of BNP Paribas helps its corporate and institutional clients leverage capital markets across the globe for their financing, risk management and investment needs. Position Purpose
Project:
GBA is the Global Booking and Allocation platform within BNP. It serves as a Middle office booking platform for Swap Trades and Cash Equity trades. The Executions from Front Office are passed to GBA so that they can be Allocated to the respective client accounts and then fed to different downstream system for their respective functions like Settlement, Confirmations, PNL calculations, etc.
Can work independently with high quality and within timelines. The candidate should be technically & funtionally inclined and with proven skills in the latest test stack.

- Test design - generate test conditions and test cases/scenarios/scripts (i.e. ‘what’ to test)
- Test analysis – understand requirements for test (review of documentation, attendance at meetings, collaboration with Project team, etc.)
- Test execution – execute tests, including the logging of results and raising of test defects.
- Execution of regression tests and defect retesting when required.
- Test implementation – test scripting/procedures (i.e. ’how’ to test)
- Identifying automatable areas
- Design/maintain Junit test automation framework based on specific needs.
- Develop automation scripts & execute them in test cycles.
- Track & maintain regular Book of work.
- Share daily, weekly, monthly reports for both Automation & Manual testing.

- Peer review QA checks of test scripts/test execution of other analysts
- Perform other testing-related duties as required.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies
· 7+ years of overall experience with minimum of 5 years into Automation Testing,
· Strong technical knowledge of Junit/TestNG with Java programming language to develop, maintain & execute automation regression test scripts.
· Closely work with Dev teams/BA to resolve issues and to develop a good understanding of the project and testing objectives.
· Candidate with good knowledge in BFSI domain is desirable.
· Must have good analytical skills.
· Experience in writing SQL queries for backend validation.
· Strong knowledge of the complete QA cycle and experience with different types of testing, including experience with rigorous test case creation, maintenance and execution.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams
· Must be flexible, independent, and self-motivated.
· Hands on experience on JIRA and Quality Centre / ALM
· Knowledge of ROBOT Framework desirable.
