Business Area

UK CIB ITO is a department of approximately 1,500 staff and includes: 

•    Operations

•    IT

•    CCCO (Chief Conduct and Control office)

•    Q&E (Quality and Efficiency)

The department sits within BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) and reports locally to the UK Territory Management and centrally to CIB ITO Management. 

The department is managed by the UK Head of CIB ITO, who is assisted by the UK CIB ITO Chief of Staff to deliver the UK CIB ITO strategy.

The UK CIB ITO Chief of Staff works hand in hand with the UK Head of CIB ITO and closely with the UK territory management team, business lines, other functions in the UK as well as Group stakeholders.

Job Purpose 

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to support the UK CIB ITO Chief of Staff in their mission, specifically in:

•    Supporting the UK Head of CIB ITO in defining and implementing the UK CIB ITO strategy, 

•    Serving as an entry point to diverse stakeholders (internal, and external) and supporting the UK Head of CIB ITO in the prioritisation of projects/topics/requests,

•    Contributing to the definition and implementation of the UK CIB ITO communication, training and staff focused initiatives, as well as the continuous improvement of the UK CIB ITO department culture.

Key Responsibilities

•    Support the UK CIB ITO Chief of Staff in running the department governance and the implementation of various key projects for the department: preparing impactful presentations, analysis, reports or meetings.

•    Work collaboratively and build relationships with UK CIB ITO management team and key stakeholders across the UK business lines and functions. 

•    Support the UK CIB ITO Chief of Staff in the implementation of culture initiatives, fostering collaboration, diversity and inclusion into the department.

•    Support the branding and communication of the UK Head of CIB ITO.

•    Bring ideas and suggest initiatives to facilitate the dynamic and passionate day to day of the UK CIB ITO management team.

Requirements

•    Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.

•    Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

•    Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues across the Bank.

•    Ability to integrate new information at a fast pace.

•    Proactive, willing to learn.

•    Attention to detail.

•    English speaking.
