About Business line/Function:

The OPC is a key component of the first line of defence as regards the management of operational risks and permanent controls under the authority of the Head of the Entity.

The OPC operates and/or coordinates the entity’s Operational and Permanent Control framework related to all operational risks front-to-back and end-to-end , including Fraud, Third Party, Conduct, Compliance, Regulatory, ICT risks, and others risks types in collaboration with other specialized independent control functions and in compliance with internal policies, procedures and guidelines issued by independent control functions as well as with external regulatory and supervisory requirements

Position Purpose

IT Risk & Permanent Control Coordinator to join IT OPC Team under CCCO to deliver Risk Management and IT Audits for business and IT functions.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

  • Actively manage the Historical Incident management process, including liaising with various stakeholders involved, root cause analysis and impact evaluation.
  • Manage production incidents and analyze impacts for customers and the bank.
  • Communicate the impacts of incidents and changes to our clients and affected teams.
  • Liaise with global and local IT control areas to ensure their certification is timely and appropriate.
  • Perform periodic Root Cause Analysis of process issues and non-compliances at Project and Application Domain level. Ensure that the exercise is planned, executed effectively and reported to appropriate level.
  • Register, follow up and track Security recommendations, findings & security exception/risk acceptance. 
  • Participate in minimizing production risks and issues, including but not exclusively, by helping to devise, and by implementing, sufficient regular controls.
  • Work closely with asset owners or representatives and technical staff to communicate, drive and track the implementation/remediation of security recommendation/findings and remedial actions for production incidents.
  • Be part of the end to end treatment chain for identified risks and incidents, in order to make the diagnosis and initiate corrective actions with the teams involved in the triage.
  • Contribute all relevant management information (KPIs/KRIs) to the various scope reports/dashboards.
  • Actively manage the Historical Incident management process, including liaising with various stakeholders involved, root cause analysis and impact evaluation.
  • Contribute to improving the quality of procedures/delivery of new software or systems and organize Incident Committees: They will be responsible for preparing and facilitating the Incident Committees on the basis of the analyses of the incidents and problems encountered and they will prepare the reports, KPI and SLA Clients.
