Digital Product Owner

Digital Product Owner

Requirements

  • Proven expertise as Product Owner or Scrum Master
  • Familiarity with DevOps and Agile tools (Azure DevOps, TFS)
  • Understanding of digital product development lifecycle
  • Asset Management or broader financial services experience (strongly preferred)
  • PSPO certification (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to communicate with both business and IT stakeholders
  • Curiosity and openness to learning
  • Strong synthesis and presentation skills
  • Creative, proactive, structured
  • Excellent written communication
  • Excellent writing skills
  • At least 5 years of experience in product and project management following Agile methodology. 
  • Expertise as Product Owner and/or Scrum master is a must. 
  • Knowledge in asset management industry is strongly preferred. 
  • Ability to work independently
  • Team management skills ( position involves managing 3-5 developers working on various projects)
  • Fluent English (French is a plus but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing AI Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives by:
    • Setting up Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews)
    • Maintaining backlog and tracking progress through Azure DevOps / TFS
    • Creating user stories and managing ticket lifecycle
    • Supporting the business owner with slide creation, KPI definition, and delivery tracking
  • Coordinate with core team (developers, data scientists, business stakeholders)
  • Assist the current Product Owner in managing incident resolution and BAU activities:
    • Track incidents using ticketing tools and ensure timely follow-up
    • Participate in daily standups and core team syncs
    • Define and maintain KPIs related to data quality
    • Report monthly and quarterly updates to key stakeholders
  • Supervise and prioritize the product backlog
  • Facilitate workshops to gather and understand business needs
  • Write, test, and validate tickets with development team
  • Animate Agile rituals and ensure project alignment with business goals
  • Coordinate with IT, marketing, compliance, investments, and external stakeholders
