Position Purpose / 職務の目的
The Actuarial & Planning Dept. Manager (P4) is responsible for accurate and timely submission of Reserve Valuations, Reinsurance Settlements, and Solvency & Capital Needs Managements for Cardif Japan’s economic activities in collaboration with Head of Actuarial & CA/CRFO, with leading the teams and tasks.
Responsibilities / 職務の責任
Direct Responsibilities
l To respect and guarantee the implementation of Regulations and Group Actuarial Governances.
l To guarantee delivering timely and accurate Reserve valuations and Solvency for Local Accounting (JGAAP),Consolidated Accounting (IFRS), Prudential Closing (S2 / “Japan ICS”)
l To monitor and summarize timely the Loss & Technical Profit Situations to Head of Actuarial & CA/CRFO
l To collaborate with Head of Actuarial for the best communications with Japan Regulator by responding to the regulatory requirements timely & accurately
l To update self and company procedures about the regulations and governances.

l To organize the teams, members, and processes.
Business Knowledge / 求められるビジネス知識
l Fundamental insurance business knowledge in Japan
l
l Model & Valuation, Actuarial Closing Expertise and Experiences are preferred
l Transversal expertise across various insurance business lines is a plus
Technical Experience / Competencies / 求められる技術的経験・コンピテンシー
l Insurance Business Experience in Japan, in protection insurance if possible
l 10+ years Experiences in Actuarial Valuation(or equivalent)
l Transversal technical and financial expertise applied to Insurance business
l Proficient in MS Office, in particular Excel
l Business communication level on English and Japanese (both written and spoken)
