(Branch) CTCM 1 year Fixed Term Contract
What is this position about?
Credit Analyst is responsible for the preparing of the credit proposal package including performing of credit analysis (including spreading of financial statements, financial and rating analysis, portfolio monitoring etc) for both existing and new clients of the Bank.
What would your typical day at BNPP Paribas look like?
Primary Role Responsibilities
- Prepare rigorous and synthetic credit proposals with accurate and comprehensive analysis in line with the bank policies, including analysis of financial statements, industry, economic data and identification, analysis and presentation of all key risks.
- Spread corporate financial statements
- Propose to credit committees appropriate ratings & recovery rates, using internal tools and judgment.
- Present credit proposals to local and regional credit committees
- Ensure annual credit reviews / transactions memo deadlines are met.
- Perform portfolio reviews, periodic covenant checks, and security monitoring, as required in line with approval conditions of respective files
- Contribute to any other portfolio or credit administrative and statistical works as required such as sector analysis, back-testing of credit, risk policy committees and watchlist / doubtful processes
- Maintain good knowledge and understanding of the bank policies, processes, risk rating tools, etc.
- Maintain good knowledge of the sector and industry developments.
- Liaise with different business lines, Risk Corporate and various BNP Paribas networks to ensure smooth and timely credit process to ensure that all reviews are properly and timely executed without overdue through joint collaboration with Relationship Managers (coordination role) and other stakeholders.
- Monitor clients’ credit evolution and immediately alert the management for any early warning signals. This includes, but not limited to, timely update of financial spreadsheets, regular compliance checks on financial covenants change in ratings or any major event or material evolution.
- Meet with clients jointly with Relationship Managers, when and where possible, to deepen the understanding of a credit
- Strong team player, supporting team members and the department to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the department
- Communicate reliably and professionally with both internal and external stakeholders
- Keep accurate track record of all assigned requests; from receipt through execution of requests
Other contributions
- Participation in projects linked to improving credit process efficiency.
- To contribute to any other portfolio or credit administrative and statistical works as required by management from time to time.

Required education/certification/licenses
- Bachelor degree with major in Business/Accounting/Economics
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and writing
- Credit/equity analyst experiences or Competent level of accounting knowledge to perform financial analysis
