Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the financial accounting and reporting process and ensure compliance with accounting norms (MFRS/IFRS) and industry best practices.
- Perform journal postings in SAP & Atlas 2 for Malaysia Berhad and Labuan, Smartstream for Capital Malaysia.
- Prepare the monthly financial reporting closing pack including updating the relevant financial schedules
- Accruals for intercompany charges and prepare monthly intercompany expenses report
- Intercompany recharges computation and tax Invoice preparation
- Prepare Rnance charges report for Middle Office
- Month end closing procedures including depreciation run, FX revaluation, VAE restructuration etc
- Assist in preparation of late adjustment listing and perform reconciliation to ensure all late adjustments are posted
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements for Capital Malaysia
- Assist in the preparation of the yearly Corporate Tax return for Malaysia Berhad and Capital Malaysia
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation for Capital Malaysia
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting & at least 5 years of working experience in the banking industry
