Assistant Vice President, Finance

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the financial accounting and reporting process and ensure compliance with accounting norms (MFRS/IFRS) and industry best practices.
  • Perform journal postings in SAP & Atlas 2 for Malaysia Berhad and Labuan, Smartstream for Capital Malaysia.
  • Prepare the monthly financial reporting closing pack including updating the relevant financial schedules
  • Accruals for intercompany charges and prepare monthly intercompany expenses report
  • Intercompany recharges computation and tax Invoice preparation
  • Prepare Rnance charges report for Middle Office
  • Month end closing procedures including depreciation run, FX revaluation, VAE restructuration etc
  • Assist in preparation of late adjustment listing and perform reconciliation to ensure all late adjustments are posted
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements for Capital Malaysia
  • Assist in the preparation of the yearly Corporate Tax return for Malaysia Berhad and Capital Malaysia
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliation for Capital Malaysia

Requirements

- Degree in Accounting & at least 5 years of working experience in the banking industry
