Position Purpose
Purpose: Selected candidate will contribute to transformation of existing C++ services into C#.NET Core alongside developers across Mumbai, Chennai, Paris & London. The candidate will be responsible for development of.Net core components on existing scope as well as new functional changes to keep up with the demands of the business and technological advancements.
The application is multi-tiered, primarily developed in C++, .Net with strong usage of Oracle PL/SQL, IBM MQ and Type scripting.

Direct Responsibilities
- Development of performance critical .Net core components in collaboration with senior technical leadership.
- Ability to understand complex C++ components.
- Contribute to maintenance activities as and when required.
- Write automated Unit tests and contribute to the CI/CD migration of the application.
- Expected to show a steep learning curve to understand the application flows and independently work in the scrum.
- Perform code reviews and technically guide juniors.
- Expected to learn about the product and all parts of the system at code level the code that makes it work.
- Contribute to 3rd line support including support from home as part of a global rotational system.
- Expected to take on tasks independently and own them across all stages of the SDLC.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Sound knowledge of Software Engineering and Object Oriented programming.
- High level of comfort and expertise in .Net core.

- Possess the ability to explain and articulate solutions, and work constructively with others including more senior and junior members in the team to implement the same.
- Good to have experience of C++, Type scripting, IBM MQ.
- Demonstrate the ability to show initiative and take the lead solving business focused technical problems.
- Have a can-do attitude that focuses on resolving the overall problem in the medium and long term as well as meeting the short-term objectives.
- Willingness and ability to put in effort even when not explicitly requested to do so.
Specific Qualifications (if required)
- 7+ years’ work experience in IT Application development in C#.NET
- At least 3+ years’ work experience in IT Application development using .NET Core
