Become our new Actuary based in Porto

Be part of the Management Control Team, more specifically in the Actuarial inventory control and analysis department, where you will participate in the production of the Closing reporting of the BNP Paribas Cardif French entities.

You will join a dynamic Finance department undergoing transformation, combining high technical requirements with a collective and supportive spirit, enabling everyone to thrive and develop strong skills.

YOUR FUTURE MISSION IN THE MANAGEMENT CONTROL TEAM

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Participating in the production of financial statements and internal and external reporting
  • Participating in the optimization of the Closing works
  • Contributing to the transformation of the department’s activity: development of business and activity analysis axes (€/UL fund, Financial Reporting Surveillance Program, markets’ evolution), KPIs definition
  • Participating in technical studies on an ad-hoc basis 
  • Participating in the transformation project for the improvement of management and accounting data 

As an actuary, you will interact with the accounting, management, actuarial model and data scientist teams. You will contribute and participate in data monitoring in order to understand and secure the evolution of the IFRS 17 aggregates.

READY TO MAKE AN IMPACT? HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Experience of minimum 7 years in Finance / Management Control or Actuarial
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in any relevant field
  • Proficiency in Financial Models, financial and performance analysis and measurement and budget management
  • Ability to collect, prioritize, and integrate large volumes of information, process them, simplify them and synthesize them effectively
  • Fluent in French and English (B2 level minimum)
  • Knowledge of VBA / SAS / Python would be a plus
