Business Overview:
Equity Financing operates within Prime Services and oversees the financing of all internal and external clients for Global Equities. Through trading of Derivatives, Repo and Stock Loan transaction, Equity Financing provides optimal solution to refinance equity linked assets and minimize BNP’s regulatory footprint.
Equity Financing manages 200b$+ of assets and is organized under 2 divisions :
Funding and Resources Management : Financing internal and external long positions, optimizing platform resources
Supply : Short covering for internal and external clients
Equity Financing is looking to hire an experienced FRM trader to join this successful team

Responsibilities:
Within the FRM team, you will be responsible for managing the collateral transformation book, Asset backed commercial paper issuances and subsequent repo and SFT transactions, Equity TRS, GC equity lending, Non-Traditional cash repo book.
- Identify trade opportunity to expand and improve BNP funding liquidity and breadth of product.
- Provide market color on funding trends and levels to EQD sales and PB sales, Pricing team.
- Coordinate globally on FRM topics
- Foster strong and deep relationships by interacting with other market participants (clients / lenders) to expand funding liquidity for the BNP franchise.
- Coordinate with internal partners in ALM, GMAT and Risk to ensure optimal result on balance sheet, ILST, RWA, gapping and other metrics.
- Work closely with Operations, Tax/Legal and Technology to ensure positions are appropriately reconciled and serviced
- Improve existing tools and push for automation with our IT partners
- Manage day to day trading and booking in FRM products (ABCP, Repo, SLAB, TRS, Options)
- Understand regulatory metrics and strive to find new and better solutions to improve BNP efficiency.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Prime Brokerage framework, Stock Loan, Repo and Delta One universe
- Strong attention to details
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- XL proficiency
- Experience on FRM topics
Preferred Qualifications;
- Python knowledge
- Experience in delta 1 trading
- Strong street side relationships

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $225,000 to $250,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
