BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking is seeking an employee for its Global Banking Operations Department in Madrid
Context
GTO (Global Trade Operations) is an entity within CIB ITO Global Banking Operations that serves Trade Finance operations on behalf of the Group.
Its scope of intervention is global, on all sites that propose to operate Trade Finance transactions, i.e., in Domestic Core Businesses (BCEF, Fortis, BGL, BNL) as in the CIB regions and Europe Mediterranée.
Within GTO, the Organisation team (Global Traditional Trade Organisation) carries out projects around process optimisation and create an operational structure for traditional trade products (Letters of Credit, International Guarantees).
As Project Manager – Global Traditional Trade Organisation, your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.
You are in charge of :
· Coordinating internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects
· Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
· Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
· Ensuring resource availability and allocation
· Developing a detailed project plan to track progress
· Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
· Reporting and escalating to your Management as needed
· Managing the relationship with the Sponsor and all stakeholders
· Performing risk management to minimize project risks
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
· On the projects/studies for which you are responsible, you must in particular:
o carry out organisational and process analyses,
o Define and lead governance to ensure that Sponsors/Partners/Contributors are well informed, mobilised and alerted when necessary.
· Participating in team recruitment
Members of the team can thus conduct their activity on any of the operational centres remotely or on site.
You also contribute to
· continuously improving the organisation and processes by ensuring that Operational and Compliance risks are controlled,
· supporting operational teams in organisational changes and the introduction of new processes,
· good practice sharing,
· to transversal projects,
· the governance of GTO
An appetite for new technologies (blockchain, RPA/RDA, OCR, Data analytics, etc.) is being sought since Trade Finance is in transformation and GTO wants to accompany the Group on these new solutions.
Mandatory skills
As Project manager, you should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis.
You should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
you also need to be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Autonomous and responsible, your analytical skills, perseverance and good relations will be your assets for the success of your missions.
· Your synthesising ability is excellent, in order to retain and summarise crucial information among the permanent flow of news you will have to manage.
· Good resistance to stress, so that decisions can always be taken calmly whatever the context.
· You have a strong sensitivity to new communication technologies.
