Data Protection Analyst

Requirements

• • Academic degree specialized in data governance and/or data protection
  • 5+ years of successful experience in the field of data protection or data privacy
  • Excellent Synthesis Skills: Ability to consolidate complex information into clear, concise insights for strategic or operational decision-making. 
  • Outstanding Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Proven capacity to engage with diverse stakeholders, including senior management and cross-functional teams. 
  • Precision & Analytical Rigor: Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities. 
  • Curiosity & Openness: Proactively seeks new ideas and methodologies, adapting to evolving technologies and industry trends. 
  • Creative Drive & Proactivity: Initiates innovative solutions and improvements in processes or frameworks. 
  • Pedagogical & Advisory Expertise: Skilled at guiding and mentoring colleagues, translating technical concepts into actionable advice. 
  • Excellent Writing Abilities: Produces clear, structured documentation, procedures, and reports. 
  • In-Depth Knowledge of Asset Management: Familiarity with core business processes and regulatory considerations in asset management. 
  • Expertise in Data Governance & Data Protection: Well-versed in relevant standards, technologies, and frameworks, with hands-on experience implementing them. 
  • High Degree of Autonomy: Capable of working independently, organizing tasks, and making informed decisions under minimal supervision. 
  • Project Management Experience with a record of delivering impactful initiatives, ideally in asset management or a similarly regulated sector. 

Responsibilities

• Create or update procedures when the BNP Paribas group requires it or when additional BNPPAM events lead to a change in the procedure
• Coordinate and make sure that the global Data office procedures framework is consistent
• Communicate around those procedures and when necessary produce operational guidelines
