AlphaCredit is looking for a Product Owner Digital Capabilities to join our Benelux team in our offices in Brussels.

The Digital Capabilities Squad is part of the Digital Capabilities Tribe that designs, delivers, and continuously improves cross-department capabilities enabling all businesses to operate more efficiently and innovatively. The Product Owner Digital Capabilities is responsible for driving the roadmap, delivering maximum value, contributing to the setup of an agile squad, and reporting to the Tribe Lead.

What is my mission?

As Product Owner of the Digital Capabilities Squad, you are the cornerstone between the Tribe Lead and the business to drive the product vision for digital capabilities in alignment with tribe and company objectives. Your mission is to ensure our transversal digital capabilities deliver maximum value, efficiency, and scalability for internal and external users.

Your Function

What is expected from me?

I am responsible for managing the Product Backlog of the Squad (Features/Stories):

  • I adapt it depending on the Product Vision given by my Tribe Lead, which means I must anticipate customer needs and market evolutions so that we make the difference in time. I gather feedback from users, acting as the voice of the customer.
  • I create the User Stories/Features and challenge these with the Squad until everyone understands what must be delivered to do it right and fast, in collaboration with the Scrum Master and the members of the Squad.
  • I make the cut in Product Prioritization by ranking Stories/Features in the backlog for the next sprints, adopting a value-based prioritization method to cover build and run needs.
  • I test the implementation of the Stories/Features for their Product Release, ensuring that delivery is viable from a customer acceptance perspective.
  • I actively participate in the life and ceremonies of the teams I belong to (my Squad, Tribe), constantly sharing our Agile values and principles.
  • I monitor product performance and usage, leveraging analytics to guide decision-making.
  • I facilitate communication and alignment across squads and business units to ensure seamless integration of digital capabilities.

Who am I interacting with?

As a Product Owner, I belong to my Squad and interact with other teams to develop both our products and our expertise.

  • In the Squad, I work daily with designers, engineers, and experts to build and run the product we are collectively accountable for.
  • In the Tribe, I work closely with the Tribe Lead to provide the information needed to establish the Tribe Vision.
  • In the Tribe, I collaborate daily with the other POs to coordinate from an end-to-end feature perspective.
  • I also work with colleagues in the same Communities of Practice.

Your Profile

  • A good knowledge of digital capabilities (Itsme, iDIN, biometric recognition, European wallet, open banking, trusted data, …).
  • You are familiar with an Agile way of working.
  • You have knowledge of the banking sector and/or consumer finance.
  • You are creative and innovative, and curious about digital tools and technology.
  • Problem-solving oriented and a strategic thinker.
  • You are able to make decisions, explain them, and support change.
  • You have the ability to inspire others and generate people’s commitment.
  • You are a strong partner and can adapt easily.
  • You are fluent in English (French and/or Dutch are a plus).
