ABOUT THE JOB
MISSION:
Provide legal advice to the entities of BPF Spain (Banco Cetelem; GCC Consumo; Xfera Consumer Finance, and the EIGs supporting them) through the study, interpretation and application of current legislation, in order to provide legal certainty to the activity of these companies by mitigating/eliminating the legal risks that may be evident.
TASKS:
- To inform and advise the different areas of the Bank on their obligations in terms of data protection.
- Monitor the organization's compliance with the GDPR and other regulations.
- Manage the drafting of clauses with clients and third parties in terms of Data Protection.
- Cooperate with the entity's DPO/DPC on data protection matters.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Law Degree. Expertise in data protection legislation and practices.
- Ability to advise the territorial DPO on the peculiarities of the business and its consequences on the development of the Entity's business.
- Effective communication: to be able to transmit complex information to different areas of the bank and Group.
- Analytical capacity: to identify and assess risks and business opportunities related to data protection.
- Organization and planning: to effectively manage the tasks and responsibilities of the position.
- Teamwork: to collaborate with other departments and stakeholders (Business, Operations, Risks, DPO, DPC)
- High level of English (optionally French).
