About the job
- The Auditor of the Iberian Peninsula Audit Hub is part of Inspection Générale (IG) and carries out audit assignments on all the activities of the Group located either in Spain or in Portugal. The Auditor could also participate in assignments lead by either Central IG or other Hubs
Your Main Activities Are
- The Auditor of the Iberian Peninsula Audit Hub carry out audit assignment to verify the existence and proper application of the Regulations and the internal rules defined by BNP Paribas policies; the absence of major weaknesses in the internal control system and its consistency in all Group entities, as well as the reliability of the financial, operational and management data
- Carry out audit assignment to examine the appropriateness of the methods and procedures and the efficiency of the management and control processes used within BNP Paribas
- Carry out audit assignment to verify that the methods used in acquiring, allocating and preserving the Group's internal resources human, technological, material, etc. are cost effective
- Carry out audit assignment to assess management's ability to assume responsibilities, display leadership qualities and define management orientations
- Carry out audit assignment to verify the methods used for achieving objectives and for implementing, in optimal conditions, the strategies and action plans defined by the responsible entities in accordance with the general policies of BNP Paribas
- Participate in the annual risk assessment exercise by analyzing Audit Units
- Ensure the follow up the issued recommendations assigned to the Auditor
- Contribute in the production of the periodic reporting requested locally or by IG Head office
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience in Risk and Controls or Audit
- Ability to collaborate / teamwork
- Ability to deliver / results driven
- Adaptability
- Ability to synthetize / simplify
- Knowledge of Audit Planning
- Skills in Office pack (namely in Excel and PowerPoint)
