Position Purpose
The main purpose of this role is to support development of Export Finance (EF) business in APAC. This will include assisting in the developing of marketing plans for relevant countries, piloting deals, originating and securing mandates, reviewing and finalizing proposals, liaising with other BNPP EF teams, Coverage and with specialized business lines (Shipping, Project Finance, etc) and internal coordination with Risk and Credit teams, Syndication, Global Markets, Compliance, CSR, Legal, ALM, etc.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
Consolidation and growth of Export Finance's franchise and activities in the APAC countries and/or sectors under his/her responsibility, in co-operation with other Export Finance and relevant business teams:
- Development and implementation of the strategy and marketing plan for his/her relevant segment, in liaison with EF management;
- Origination and securing mandates from Buyers/Borrowers, in co-operation with relevant EF desks, Coverage and specialized business lines (Project Finance, Shipping, etc);
- Piloting deal teams from deal initiation to closure, including client pitches, negotiation of term sheets, credit committee approvals and loan documentation;
- Preparation and presentation of credit requests or support memos for deals as necessary.
- Defining Export Finance’s needs in terms of country envelope for relevant countries;
- Internal co-ordination with inter alia Risks and Credit teams, Coverage, Syndication, Global Markets, Compliance, CSR, Legal, ALM, etc.;
Contributing Responsibilities
Contribute to the achievement of the EF APAC budget;
Contribute to the Permanent Control framework;
Contribute to the various internal reports, pipelines and data bases;
In the segment under his/her responsibility, in co-operation with relevant Export Finance teams and Coverage:
- Contribute to, and seek to identify, cross-sell opportunities stemming from Export Finance transactions;
- Contribute to the appropriate information flow to the relevant Export Finance teams and other internal parties.

Experience/Qualifications Required
- Experience in Export Finance preferred, or similar structured finance business line;
- Track record of involvement in structured finance deals and active execution of transactions;
- Bachelor degree and above.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant banking experience.
