The Digital Assets Product/Project Manager is part of the Global Markets - Digital team. It consists in driving innovation, defining strategy and contribute actively to the development and integration of Digital Assets within Global Markets, in strong collaboration with CIB. 

Contributing to market initiatives, regulatory working group and with internal stakeholders including but not limited to Front officer, Legal, IT (security and developers). The right person would be part of the design, planning and execution for the future developments of the Bank's key digital initiative.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Have advanced  capabilities to manage transversal Global Markets digital assets initiatives/activities across financial instruments (e.g. Bonds, Rates) and processes (i.e. Issuance, Syndication, Repo, Loan/Margining) together with multiple teams in a global setup (US, APAC, EMEA)
  • Taking an active part in the definition of Global Markets Digital Assets strategy including: identifying relevant digital assets platforms and integration, pushing new opportunities and innovative ideas based on an understanding of the products, Global Markets & Clients' needs, and applicable regulations across different jurisdictions globally
  • Advocate and coordinate blockchain/DLT educational activities; coordinating the scope (e.g. workshops, business requirements), governance, prioritisation and delivery of new features and products for the digital assets platform in close coordination with key stakeholders: Primary (ie DCM, Syndicate), Secondary (ie Sales, Trading), Tech team, others Group Metiers Digital Leads
  • Collecting feedback from end-users in Global Markets and supporting functions (i.e. legal, compliance, operations) to improve the product and ensure a best-in-class digital asset experience. Maintaining a written documentation of the platforms
  • Continuously identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative ideas ahead of others to improve topics or solve issues or problems that are multidisciplinary or cross-organisational, to improve the customer journey or the organisation, to develop new businesses or thought models
  • Provide knowledge on digital assets product and blockchain concepts to new audiences; change/adapt current operational setups to accommodate digital assets requirements (ie using DLT as the main technology tree); manage risks and potential roadblocks on vertical changes required to integrate digital assets products into internal, external and in partners networks (ie Payments, settlements, clearing houses)
  • Contribute to the definition of the communication strategy around digital assets inside and outside of the Bank to clients and key stakeholders.  
  • Influences and supports members of the team by leading in decision making and approach where problems are more complex and require sophisticated analysis or experience

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Higher degree engineering, finance, or computer science field  
  • Proficiency in English (C2) 
  • Experience in the Blockchain/Crypto/Digital assets preferred but not mandatory but highly valuable 
  • At least 2 years of experience in investment banking 
  • At least 3 years of experience in digital product management or project management 
  • Experience on working in a remote setup, with global teams in UK, US, EU, APAC 
  • Knowledge on financial products (ie Bonds, Rates, Corporate Actions) is highly valuable. 
  • Proactively able to think strategically, identify areas of development and takes initiative to implement relevant actions, in the short, medium and long term 
  • Strong capacity for self-learning and commitment to integrate new updates from regulatory bodies (eg MiCa) into the digital assets products and processes (ie operational, compliance, risk management). 
  • Strong relationship management skills and an ability to work with individuals from different background and seniority to ensure the delivery of set objectives 
  • Proven communication / relationship management skills
