About the job
- The Credit Analytics Officer’s main mission is to manage the BNP Paribas’ securitization financing activities credit risk, resources and profitability on an ongoing basis, optimizing the securitization financing portfolio in terms of profitability, risk and capital assessment and managing the day to day of securitization financing transactions, making sure that Risk Committee approves and legally agreed conditions with clients are met
Your Main Activities Are
- Credit Management
- Assist with processing and reviewing each name contributed to the team's financing facilities
- Conduct rigorous credit analysis including fundamental analysis on leveraged borrowers, reviewing financials, transactions and marketing documents
- Identify key credit strengths, risks and mitigants
- Analyze various capital structure scenarios
- Update, maintain and enhance the credit platform with analyst notes and metrics on Loan Issuers
- Ensure regular risk monitoring and maintenance of the portfolio, including annual reviews, quarterly rating and capital review processes and preparation of performance dashboards
- Portfolio Management
- Maintain and feed the Portfolio Management system with data and ensure its quality
- Track covenants of the facilities, maintain borrowing bases and report results to the structuring team
- Data Management
- Assist in maintaining the credit database by creating new entries, updating existing entries, preparing financial models and troubleshooting errors
- Organize the deal document directory, including information sent by clients or posted on shared data sites
- Report
- Leverage the credit database for data analysis, exposure breakdowns and internal reports
- Assist with creating reports for the credit database and contribute to overall credit research task
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
- Up to 2 years of experience in Financial Analysis and Advisory
- Fluency in English, with great communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
- Results driven mindset with great attentiveness to detail
- Great analytical skills with ability to synthesise
- Great organizational skills with a committed and proactive approach

- Asset Finance & Securitization (AFS) is a global business within BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), straddling activities across both Global Banking & Global Markets. The AFS umbrella includes several businesses, including Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) & Credit Solutions, Asset-based Securities (ABS), Project & Infrastructure Finance & Transportation Finance
- The Credit Structuring team, within AFS’ division, is at the forefront of the fast-growing US CLO and Senior Portfolio Financing (SPF) businesses, underlying collateral of the facilities structured by the New York desk
