Job Title: Associate, Global Equity Sales
Location: 787 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10019
Duties: Sales coverage of Wealth Management institutions for Structured Products within the US (pricing, trade execution, trade origination). Develop the commercial footprint of the franchise and expand client base. Increase system automation, develop internal infrastructure and internal / external partnerships to streamline execution processes. Act as a subject matter expert for complex transactions linked to Equity, Commodity, Credit and/or Rates List. Interface with Legal, Trading, Marketing and Structuring teams to design appropriate structured investment ideas in compliance with country specific regulations and restrictions, including negotiation of terms. Telecommuting permitted 20%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas Securities Corp. office in New York, NY. 10% Domestic travel required.
SALARY: $150,000 – $200,000/ year
Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field and two (2) years of experience in job offered or related role. FINRA Registration required, including Series 7. Must have two (2) years of experience with the following: Must have two (2) years of experience with the following: Structured Product and Cross-Asset Derivatives Sales; trade booking, validation, market lifecycle events, settlement, and confirmation process for Equity Derivatives Products; applying and complying with EMIR, Dodd Frank, and FINRA market regulations; and working with Equity Derivatives Products system architecture, including front to back workflow, prices, and risk management systems. Must have one (1) year of experience with Excel and VBA to simplify and automate manual Front Office processes.
