Primary Role Responsibilities:

  • Track ASEAN economies (Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore) macro data
  • Build framework and forecast GDP, Inflation, Fiscal deficit, Current Account and Policy rates
  • Publish research reports together with other economists and strategist in the global team
  • Speak to clients and express BNPP views
  • Build quantitative models to improve forecasts
  • Speak to global team and understand global views too
  • Engage with strategists to ensure strong markets focus

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Economist or strategist with 2–7 years of ASEAN experience
  • A master’s degree in economics, finance or statistics (including econometrics)
  • SMS Office skills
  • Excellent English communication
  • Familiarity with R or Python is a plus.
