Who can apply?

To be considered for the placement, you will:

  • Apply as a penultimate or final year undergraduate in any discipline; 
  • On track for a GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0 or above (or equivalent) in any discipline; 
  • Have to be fluent in spoken and written English (additional languages are an advantage); and 
  • Demonstrate an inquisitive mind-set, with analytical skills, mathematical aptitude, and a keen interest in latest finance topics as well as market trends. 

Candidates with more than one application will not be processed – You are encouraged to review the different business lines and working locations before applying.

Responsibilities

  • Support the IRFX structuring desk in Singapore across FX, Rates, Hybrid products
  • Perform pricing checks (specifically FX & Hybrid products) as guided by structurers/traders
  • Prepare presentations as guided by the IRFX structuring desk (correct typos, suggest potential enhancements, retrieve historical data from internal database for back-testing/graphs, etc.)
  • Support the desk for pre/post trade tasks (review termsheets, etc…) and suggest any potential improvement to structurers
  • Code/develop Python-based tools for internal use by Structuring, Trading and Sales
