Corporate patronage was the theme at the latest BNP Paribas conferences, stressing the enterprises social responsibility. For this occasion, Jacques Rigaud, the founder of Admical, traced corporate patronage's legacy and François Debiesse, President of the BNP Paribas Foundation, as well as director of Private Banking International, presented the Foundation's actions in regards to corporate patronages.
Thanks to the BNP Paribas Foundation, corporate patronage is expressed in many domains: culture, (contemporary dance, baroque music, and new circus arts); medical research; the Projets Banlieues, which helps disadvantaged youths; as well as sustaining projects for the Group's employees (such as the Coup de Pouce programme). Corporate patronage allows enterprises to reflect their identity; it puts enterprises in contact with other entities allowing for different values to be demonstrated.
