Each year, we offer 1,100 final-year internships lasting six months or more to talented young students eager to learn by working alongside our teams. These students acquire meaningful work experience by joining one of our teams and are each assigned a mentor to provide support and guidance.

V.I.E (International Corporate Volunteer Program)

Thanks to our extensive worldwide presence in 75 countries, we can help you define your career path through a life-changing experience as a V.I.E volunteer in an international business environment. You will join one of our teams abroad during 12 to 24 months. Over 260 VIE positions are available each year at BNP Paribas.

The V.I.E contract is offered in the form of a tripartite agreement signed between BNP Paribas SA, Ubifrance (the French agency managing the V.I.E program), and you. As required by French law, Ubifrance is your employer for the duration of your V.I.E.

Disability Unit

BNP Paribas in France has been one of the first banking groups to express its commitment in a Policy of  discriminations' prevention and of diversity promotion.

To formalize an disability active  policy, BNP Paribas signed in 2008 its first enterprise-wide agreement which allowed the implementation of a structured actions plan and the creation of the Disability Unit.

These first actions were reinforced by the signature of a third enterprise-wide agreement for the period 2016-2019 whose 4 major objectives are : 

  • to increase the volume of recruitments of people with disabilities with 200 hirings in 4 years ;
  • to ensure long-term employment of disabled employees and promote their professional enhancement by all the useful measures (adaptations of the workstations, Training...)
  • to train and sensitize all the managers and employees
  • to increase recourse to sheltered workshops and adapted enterprises

The five steps of our recruitment process

At BNP Paribas, we consider every application according to our three principles to ensure equal opportunity: transparency, objectivity and respect. We make all of our employment decisions through a careful evaluation of your skills, based on a set of factual and objective qualities.

  • Online application

    Select the job offer that interests you, upload your CV and your cover letter, then submit your application.

  • Shortlisting

    We will get  in touch with you, whatever our decision at this stage of the process. Depending on this job you are applying for, we may ask you to take tests to measure your cognitive abilities.

  • Face-to-face interview

    You will be invited for an interiew with a member of our Human Ressources team or a member of our operational staff. If your first interview goes well, you will be asked back for a second interview.

  • Firm job offer

    We sit down with you to agree upon the terms and conditions of your employement with us. Once you accept our offer, we drew up an employement contract for you. Welcome to BNP Paribas!

  • Orientation

    You are introduced to new colleagues and your manager. You meet with your manager, who will outline your responsabilities, your initial assignements, and assist you with any questions you may have. Together you design a personalised orientation process.
