About Business line/Function:
The Datacenter team is responsible for supervising, monitoring and developing the Datacenter, Infrastructure and Telecommunication of the regional Hub of BNP Paribas in the India region, liaising with BNP Paribas Head Offices where all major banking applications are hosted. Telecom Team activities plays a major role in the structure of processes that govern decision making around IT investment, client and suppliers relationships, project management.

Position Purpose
Datacentre team is responsible to select/build/ Manage Datacentres and operate datacentre services for BNP Paribas in India region. Datacentre being in the centre of IT Services to deliver IT solutions to our business, timely delivery of our services is critical to success of BNP Business in India. Datacentre Manager position is created within India IT Infra & Production department to oversee delivery of Datacentre services to our internal clients while working with all vendors for external datacentres or facility and building management team for internal datacentres/technical rooms. Datacentre Manager also would help to produce various reports and metrics to show that Datacentre Services are delivering all services according the agreed SLA/OLA. This position will also help to improve customer satisfaction by collaborative and communicating with all parties to improve areas and process that need to improve to our quality and timely service delivery. Datacentre Manager will report to Head of Network & Datacentre in India.
Responsibilities - Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Datacentre Infrastructure Management
- Design and build new Datacentres according to BNP standards. Gather internal team requirements and translate into actual space and power requirement for Datacentres.
- Provide advice to India IT Management and collaborate with Regional/ Global Datacentre Manager to understand latest global standards and directions to implement it in India.
- Standardize India Datacentre Services across all facilities.
- Review and revise of all policies and procedures being used in India Datacentre Management
- Support/contribute all audits related to Datacentre
- Contribute for dashboard reporting.
- Availability and Capacity Management
- Procurement: Contribute to RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, and other documentation for Datacentre Projects and associated efforts.
- Be a strong advocate of Datacentre policy, procedure and standards to make sure that Datacentres in India are designed to meet local regulatory requirements and BNP global audit and security standards.

- Has expert knowledge of various Datacentre facilities (UPS, Generator, Fire Suppression, CCTV, CRAC) and Services
- Has knowhow of regulatory requirements related to Datacentres in India

- Has experience in leading technical staff to deliver various Datacentre services
- Good knowledge and understanding of domestic Datacentre trends and scenario

Expected profile:
- Minimum 10 years working experience in the Datacentre Field, preferably in BFSI domain
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and delivering service for Datacentres
- Must have managed multiple datacentre migration projects
- Certified in Datacentre Design (either CDCDP or similar)
- Demonstrate leadership experience with large, complex programmes, and deeply technical global expert.
- Seasoned technology leader with rich experience of leading engineering teams.
