From 7 to 9 September, held in Paris the 8th edition of the Convergences World Forum. BNP Paribas is a partner of this event which gathers more than 7000 professionals, takes place at the Palais Brongniart and the City Hall, and is focused on the theme " Zero exclusion, Zero Carbon , Zero Poverty".
On this occasion, several dozens of stakeholders from all over the world will be present to share their expertise. Among them, are Pierre Moscovici (Commissioner), Antoine Frérot (CEO of Veolia Environment), Antonio Meloto (Chairman and Founder of Gawad Kalinga), and experts and a senior officer from BNP Paribas, Thierry Laborde. The Deputy Director of the Group will speak as part of an intervention entitled "Citizen Action: how to engage citizens in environmental action? "
Discussions will focus on three major themes: the new sustainable development goals, economic models that accelerate societal change, and the establishment of an agenda shared solutions to meet the challenge of climate change.
The Youth We Can! evening, which reveals youth communities working for a more responsible society, and the Media Evening, devoted to the role of the media in a fair and sustainable world, are two other highlights of the Forum Convergences programme.
