Business Overview:
Global Prime Services technology is seeking Technology senior developer for Cash PB and Synthetic PB Payments Approval application which supports Prime & Finance platform. The role requires strong functional expertise in Payments and payments processing (including Swift message)

BNPP Equity & Prime services business is going through significant growth with aspiration to be top Prime Broker for Europe and within top 4 globally. The long-term focus of the platform is on supporting activities growth targets set by the management, responding to the fast pace of client demand for new products and services, and compliance with new regulatory obligations. There are several strategic technology initiatives on the way to accelerate DevOps, Virtualization, and Cloud transformation, as well as adaptation of machine learning and artificial intelligence to deliver client offering.
This payment system is critical Prime Services payment management system.
Aimed to:
- process customer driven cash transactions (Cash and Synthetics Prime Brokerage).
- track available cash balance.
- provide necessary operational transparency within the automated approval flows.
This offers PB Hedge funds clients full blown payments processing (both Cash and Synthetic PB) for both USPB and IPB clients.

Responsibilities:
- Full stack developer with hands on experience in .Net, C# and Java.
- Experience with SQL Server
- Bachelors in Comp Science or equivalent with 12+ year experience in software development or Masters in Comp Science with 9+ year experience
- 7-year experience as a senior developer
- Hands-on experience with major upgrades and implementations of various technologies (.Net, Java etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Experience in developing financial systems.
- Experience in design and building high performance, high availability, scalable, distributed applications capable of supporting straight through processing of large amount of data
- Experience with web services development using SpringBoot / REST APIs
- Experience in the following technologies is required: .Net / Java / Multithreading / MQ/TIBCO
- Project Delivery Skills:
- Strong various technology skills with ability to think logically to analyze problems and define efficient solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with representatives of a diverse range of departments globally
- Ability to:
- Work both independently and with a team in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Investment Bank and functional domain knowledge of Prime Brokerage is a plus
- Hands-on experience with messaging platforms (Kafka, Solace, TIBCO, MQ, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux/Windows
- Agile development experience
- Cloud Application Design experience
- Exposure to Payments and Swift messages is a plus.

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $120k to $200k annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
