The role
The St Albans Land Management team have a strong culture for supporting their colleagues to develop and grow their professional skills.  They carry a strong set of values at the heart of their approach to work and each other.
The team undertake the management of a diverse range of estate businesses in St Albans and the wider region, for varied clients including private families, charitable organisations, and corporate structures.  They offer a range of specialist professional advice, including valuation and rural business consultancy work.  Their technical excellence ensures a strong local reputation and challenging but rewarding work.

Key Deliverables

  • Deliver the primary day-to-day relationship role with Estate Management clients
  • Managing landlord and tenant relationships for agricultural, commercial and residential properties
  • Estate business administration, including budgeting and financial reporting
  • Leading and collaborating with the work of Estate employees
  • Working with colleagues to providing concise, practical and reasoned advice to Clients 

Experience

  • A strong affinity with a values based culture and desire to work collaboratively with their colleagues
  • Experience in the rural sector from within private practice or resident agent background
  • Be commercially astute
  • Keen initiative to seek out practical solutions to challenges
  • Aspirations to develop leadership skills by taking responsibility within the team
  • Good presentation skills
  • Excellent people skills
  • Person specification

Qualifications/Key Skills

  • Educated to degree level
  • Professionally qualified MRICS
  • Proficient in the use of Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Previous experience of working to deadlines
