Position Purpose
-Prepare and consolidate the daily and monthly risk monitoring reports on Hong Kong, Singapore and On-Shore accounts to Risk-WM and WM Management.
-Ensure accounts operate within the guidelines or pre-approved exceptions and follow up with the Front office for action plans for new exceptions.
-Review the lending ratio on new securities and co-ordinate with Risk-WM for FR requests/ confirmations.
-Compile statistic reports for reporting or audit purpose
-Check client’s positions to determine eligibility for new placements and IPOs.
-Contribute to the implementation of operational permanent control policies and procedures in day-to-day business activities, such as Control Plan
-Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guideline
-Contribute to the reporting of all incidents according to the Incident Management System
-Update monitoring templates to cater for systems upgrades.
-Daily update of Selected Key client positions based on combination of WM and CIB monitoring systems.
-Take up ad hoc projects related to credit monitoring
Key Responsibilities
-Undertake regular monitoring of all commitment clients under Wealth Management Hong Kong including:
1.Timely identification and reporting of under-margined clients.
2.Detection of limit excess and unauthorized trades.
3.Compliance with approval conditions and lending ratios.
-Daily monitoring of sensitive clients (large exposures, active trading in FX and Equity derivative transactions). Positions are on one-day delay basis but some clients placed on real time depending on the weaknesses identified.
-Authorization of loan roll-overs and new drawdowns on a daily basis.
-Checking and release of security assets and funds.
-Providing ad-hoc positions of commitment clients at Relationship Managers’ requests.
-Daily assessment of Pending Settlement Report to ensure clients maintains sufficient liquidity or credit facilities to meet their commitment on settlement date. Contacting the Relationship Managers requesting evidence of management approval for breach in procedures.
-Daily assessment of all transactions without authorized limits.

Essential Technical Knowledge/Skills :

Qualifications and Experience :
-University Graduate
-At least 8-10 years of credit / risk analyst experience
