Global Market Operations also known as COCE (client operating center of excellence) is further divided into 4 departments i.e. Trade Processing & Support, Product Control, Client Management & Change Management. Product Control in the wider market outside of BNP is Middle Office. Product Control consists of streams like Documentation & Reconciliation, Trade Support, P&L & Trading Portfolio & controls. Product Control teams are in regular contact with Market Front Office, Regional Back Office’s and Regional Finance & other support teams for their BAU.

Position Purpose
Product Control team supports Front Office teams across asset classes in Trade life cycle management, Reporting P&L, ensure Risk and Control are managed within the threshold and reconcile post trade activity with counterparties.
The resource will need to work in partnership with our clients, sales and trading to ensure that trades are allocated, confirmed, and processed in a timely manner. Provide support to our front office equities trading desks and also act as a point of contact for internal front/back-office enquiries.
Provide a daily Economic, Step Reval and Risk Based PNL to each desk and to the Bank’s management.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
· Management of all spill queues within the platform.
· Responding to client queries & Front office queries
· Liaison with trading desk and related stakeholders to escalate any trade or booking issues.
· Ability to apply problem solving and investigative techniques to trade booking / flow issues.
· Build and maintain strong relationship with our front office, Back office and operations areas
· Knowledge of Options and other derivative instruments would be preferable.
· Validate the official Economical P&L figures and the related P&L explains (market move, new deals, etc) and investigate the discrepancies with the Front Office Predict.
· Submit the P&L for Sign-off to the Traders.
· Report, Comment and Validate the P&Ls into the Official Reporting tool
· To perform day-to-day trade & position reconciliation and analyze all the breaks arisen from the related reconciliation reports to ensure proper control and measure the associated risks on all outstanding breaks.
· To monitor traders short sell position and highlight positions accurately to ensure its funded in timely manner to avoid financial losses
· To perform as an independent control team to strengthen all the control within Global Market Operations
· Making sure completion of assigned tasks of breaks, Communicating the breaks as soon as possible to the related teams (trade support, FO, BO) for action/correction

· Participate to global projects related to MO or P&L processes improvements.
· Participate to local projects related to systems migrations.
· Participate to the improvement of the productivity within the team by proposing initiative
