Project Manager - AVP
Business Overview:
Change & Solutions works closely with BNPP’s executive management and senior leadership to design and implement high-level, and strategically important projects for the Bank in Brazil. The team delivers value across the bank’s platforms through an integrated approach with deep international interconnectivity across departments, and a strong focus on servicing internal clients.
Change & Solutions delivers change-the-bank initiatives including strategic planning, business development, operational excellence, resilience, and remediation. These initiatives cover the full change management value chain from strategy to implementation.
As a member in the Change & Solutions team, you will have significant autonomy and be expected to play an instrumental role in the design and execution of the Bank’s transformation and regulatory strategy.

Responsibilities:
Project management and thought leadership:
- Leads transformation projects (Target operating model, value chain proposition, automation), including overall project plan, timeframe, stakeholder relationships, and quality of deliverables.
- Pro-actively identifies risks / anticipate roadblocks and apply problem solving structures on initiatives and drives resolution.
- Manage day-to-day stakeholder relationships and deliverables.
- Stimulate creative problem solving for clients and project teams.
- When needed, prepares, and leads workshops with senior stakeholders to build consensus / resolve issues.
- When needed, directly contributes to the preparation of projects’ deliverables.
- Maintain familiarity with financial services industry trends (regulatory, innovation, etc) via desk research, ongoing training, etc.
Client leadership
- Develop advisory relationships with Executive management and their management teams across BNPP.
- Work with C&S and COO senior leads to scope, staff, and deliver projects in alignment with emerging client needs.
- Effectively influence key stakeholder client involvement and decision making on projects.
- Lead and manage presentations for executive management.
Team leadership
- When needed, supervises C&S team members, acts as a coach to support their personal development and career aspirations.
- Foster connectivity between change-oriented teams across the firm and provide visibility to executive management.
- Maintain strong personal mentorship and guidance relationships with senior and junior teams
Position Requirements:
- Relevant experience in the Banking / Financial Services Industry
- Excellent project management skills (including ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadline and work collaboratively within a team), project management methods (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid and Lean) and tools (VSM, Value Chain Analysis, Swin Lane Diagram, etc.)
- Excellent communication across verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Fluency in English and Portuguese.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
