YOUR JOB IN A NUTSHELL
At the IT Strategy & Architecture department, you are at the core of the bank’s digital transformation. We construct secure and flexible IT solutions for all channels and all products, covering the full stack from our product factories services to their exposition to our customers and employees.
AND IN DETAIL
As a Tribe Architect you primarily work on two distinct types of engagements:
- Defining a vision and model for our initiatives and core digital capabilities (long term).
- Focusing on the detailed solution architecture of each payment product increment within this vision (short term).
Under those engagements, your main tasks are:
- Understanding the business requirements and concretize them by documenting a functional solution.
- Leveraging your technical expertise to engineer robust and reusable IT solutions architecture that best fit the bank’s strategy.
- Being the link between the business and IT. You promote and validate your solutions with all the related stakeholders and validation bodies.
- Contributing to the ambitions of the department, which range from continuous improvements of our way of working, enriching our standard patterns and building blocks catalogue, sharing your knowledge with your colleagues … and many other transversal contributions.
Although you are based in Brussels, you work in an international context to implement the BNP Paribas Group IT Strategy and Architecture.
YOUR TALENTS AND COMPETENCES
- You have a strong technical and/or functional background, with a sound understanding of a project’s development lifecycle.
- Analytical, creative and curious, you have an in-depth understanding of technical subjects and are quick to innovate. Highly aware of how the organization functions, you have patience and accept changes in direction.
- You listen carefully to others and, thanks to your excellent communication skills, you provide them with accurate information that is perfectly suited to them.
- You deliver high-quality results, on time, every time. You also take the customer perspective into account when making and defending your decisions.
- You are persuasive and are able to sell your ideas. You catch and hold the attention of your colleagues from the business and IT when you approach any subject of a professional nature.
- You are a team player. You like to learn and share your knowledge with your colleagues. As an optimist, you also share your enthusiasm and build motivation in them.
- You have a good knowledge of English and either French or Dutch.
