IT Team Leader

The BNPP IT HUB, Global Banking IT Team leader will have the direct oversight of the Global Banking IT team in Poland, for either Application Development (especially developers, business analysts, project managers) or Application Support (application and production support), servicing different clusters / business lines.

Under management of the Head of BNPP GB IT HUB, the successful candidate will work closely with the GB IT Global Managers, leading team of up to 20 people in Poland. 

IT Team Leader

Requirements: 

• At least 2 years of experience leading significant technology and/or product development organizations with the success in building high-performing teams using technology as a competitive enabler
• Experience working in an international environment with teams/partners located in different countries
• Deep understanding of business drivers and technology supporting it 
• Demonstrated experience in technology strategic planning, organization design and development
• Experience in leading transformational initiatives by taking advantages of digital opportunities to innovate and reduce the technology debt
• An excellent record of successful client-oriented project delivery 
• Ability to work closely with the Global Banking IT Cluster Heads, stakeholders and partners
• Strong written, verbal communication skills across borders and cultures
• Experience with significant budget oversight and cost optimization
• Ability to inspire and lead by example
• Proven record of hiring, developing, upgrading and deploying top talent at all levels
• Strong team management and development skills, with the ability to coach and mentor a diverse, large and geographically dispersed team at varying levels of experience
• IT University degree

• Strategy and Planning:

  3. Organize the delivery of business solutions within agreed timeframes, quality and budget
  4. Ensure quality and efficiency as per clients expectations and further endeavor to enhance the quality of delivery

• Team/People Management:
  1. Guide, motivate supervised team and be seen as a Leader leading by example 
  2. Ensure the vision of the Business is well understood by the team at all levels

• Cost & Budget Management: 
  1. Actively manage and optimize the budget for applications in his scope, in close cooperation with Head of GB IT and GB IT Cluster head, analyze value and risk driving relevant actions
  2. Participate in building of a mechanism of tracking and updating the global tools & reporting of costs & man-days 
  3. Institute controls & monitor costs & efforts across the scope

  1. Adhere to and promote overall IT Governance mandate as per Group, Operating entities and Territory mandates
  2. Support Head of GB IT in coordination with Global partners to ensure alignment to IT architecture and principles
