CIB Securities Services, part of BNP Paribas, is seeking a talented individual to join our GOAL team which on a daily basis manage international transversal projects.
IT Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage strategic projects within our IT organization.
- Frame projects upfront, define governance, and secure sign-offs
- Consolidate design solutions with proper sign-offs from clients, IT architecture, and relevant contributors
- Build and maintain project plans, manage dependencies, and handle unplanned events
- Drive project completion through effective communication and continuous alignment with all contributors
- Take responsibility for actions and analysis related to the project while focusing on the roadmap
- Secure project team staffing with support from line managers and relevant governance bodies
- Perform project retrospectives to gather lessons learned and improve future projects
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a IT Project Manager role
- Strong track record in successful interactions with peers in a non-hierarchical framework
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interact with very senior employees
- Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and coaching capabilities
- Organized, delivery-focused, and comfortable operating with a high level of autonomy
- Proactive, with the ability to take initiative and work well under pressure
- Solid work ethic and high level of motivation
