Discover HUMAN, the exhibition at GoodPlanet Foundation-Domaine de Longchamp

The first Paris venue dedicated entirely to the environment and humanism, the GoodPlanet Foundation – Domaine de Longchamp, opens on the weekend of 13-14 May, just 10 minutes from Porte Maillot. For the occasion, the HUMAN exhibition, an immersion into the depths of the human soul, will be inaugurated for 2 years.

HUMAN, a landmark exhibition by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, takes us to the core of the human being.

Filmed in 60 countries over more than 2 years, the 2020 people who were interviewed look us straight in the eyes and tell us profound, real-life stories in 63 different languages. In a blend of aerial images and interviews facing the camera, this unusual fresco gives a portrait of humanity today that resounds in each of us. Through stories filled with love and happiness, but also hatred and violence, HUMAN brings us face to face with the Other and makes us reflect on our own lives. From stories of everyday experiences to accounts of the most unbelievable lives, these poignant encounters share a rare sincerity and underline who we are - our darker side, but also what is most noble and universal in us.

GoodPlanet Foundation  – Domaine de Longchamp

The GoodPlanet Foundation, officially recognised as being of public utility, aims to make the environment a focal point of awareness and to inspire people to take concrete action for the earth and its inhabitants. Founded in 2005, GoodPlanet Foundation offers artistic programmes (7 billion Others, HUMAN...) as well as educational programmes to raise awareness among the widest possible audience worldwide. In July 2015, the City of Paris granted a 30-year concession of the Domaine de Longchamp to create a venue dedicated to the environment and humanism.

3.5 hectares of classified wooded parkland, château, medieval tower, exhibitions, concerts, restaurant, vegetable garden, orchard, beehives, insect hotels, and more - so many things to see, hear, touch, taste and feel, are now accessible to all, for free. A place that celebrates sharing, caring, kindness and insight, just 10 minutes by shuttle from Porte Maillot. A dream that has become a reality thanks to the support of the City of Paris and the Foundation’s numerous partners. The GoodPlanet Party will give you the chance to explore the Domain with its château and woodland park in a fun way - an experience to share with family or friends. A wide range of activities throughout the weekend gives a foretaste of the programme lying ahead for the year at the GoodPlanet Foundation  – Domaine de Longchamp.

“ I AM A MAN OF 7 BILLION OTHERS. FOR 40 YEARS, I PHOTOGRAPH OUR PLANET AND HUMAN DIVERSITY AND I HAVE THE FEELING THAT HUMANITY DOES NOT ADVANCE. WHY? THIS IS NOT IN THE STATISTICS, IN THE ANALYZES THAT I SEEK THE RESPONSE, BUT IN MAN. ”
