- Data Quality (DQ) Analyst contributes to the follow up of quality of financial data managed in accounting tools, specifically ensuring continuous data quality monitoring, proceeding anomalies detection and analyses, determining root causes and piloting remediation plans
- It means
- Lead and coordinate long-term actions for improvements with operational teams, to ensure central and local reporting’s’ consistency, support evolutions for compliance with BCBS239 norms
- Contribute to reinforce operational daily procedures and controls on data quality
- Contribute to dashboards for data quality monitoring on projects and production and integrate new requirements
- Regularly produce and make evolve Data quality KPIs
- Raise alerts and issues and anticipate changes impacts with operational and technical team
- Share and explain analyses, action plans in different forums o/w monthly DQ committee with EMEA managers
- Manage projects for Data quality team and support projects targeting data quality improvements. Promote KYD (Know Your Data) culture, esp. sharing knowledge and expertise on data quality with all stakeholders on our functional scope
Your Main Activities Are
- DQ analyst brings support in his/her team, to management and various stakeholders about following topics
- Data quality remediation plan according defined global governance
- Support teams for issue collection (issue log) with expected detail level and under required format (information exhaustiveness, clear descriptions, and impacts assessments)
- Identify related risks per anomaly
- Help SPOC and SMS and FS managers for issue resolution
- Monitor action plans and correction priorities with teams in charge
- Daily support and training
- Support teams during closings: procedures, request workflows, punctual analyses, among others
- Improve coordination, cooperation, and communications between operational teams to fulfil data quality targets
- Assist teams in parameters in accounting tools
- Organize and prepare coordination meeting with EMEA teams on any data quality topic
- Share main issue / action in data quality committee
- Contribution to evolution projects
- Act as Data quality team’s point of contact with project team
- Contribute to expected analyses and actions on project, including by requesting EMEA teams taking directly in charge some actions. Report to EMEA teams project progression and alerts
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Management or Engineering
- At least 10 years of Experience in Finance/Banking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Pack (MS Excel, and MS Access)
- Fluent in English
- Communication skills
- Capacity to listen, show empathy and influence
- Analytical skills
- Attention to detail/rigor
- Adaptability
