VP - US Credit Trader (US Corridor)

Responsibilities: 

• Provide liquidity on US Credits to respond to price inquiries overnight by European, Asian & Middle Eastern Clients. Relay traders axes and make at risk pricing, hedge as appropriate, growing the bank’s market share and trading volumes 
• Provide trade ideas to clients across the region, Europe and the Middle East and communicating with clients over their buy/sell interests. 
• Successfully market the franchise’s strengths and capabilities through client calls/meetings, developing and enhancing client relationships. 
• Continue to build out the overnight US franchise as we look to develop our Algo/PT capabilities for Asia clients and expand into other sectors such as LATAM and HY. 
• In time, grows into a risk taking role 

Conduct: 

• Compliance with individual mandates and Code of Conduct
• Follow the PCM Principles & Guidelines Policy
• Sign off on ORUS
• Acts & behaves appropriately and complies fully with the general ethical standards expected by BNP and the regulatory authorities
• Complies with all applicable legal, regulatory, code of conduct and firms internal compliance requirements.
• Has completed all mandatory compliance training assigned and maintains, through is his observed actions, an appropriate level of knowledge and understanding in order to be fully competent to undertake the role

Franchise:

• Work closely with analysts & economists to develop a cohesive and targeted trading strategy across sectors
• Collaborate with Analysts to jointly identify & position for marketable trade ideas
• Work with Sales & Research to promote the franchise and ensure BNP code of best practices are adhered to
• Regular attendance of daily and weekly risk meetings

Contributing Responsibilities

US:

-Be an ambassador of the US platform for the regions. 

-Provide market updates and relay traders axes to clients across the region and make at risk pricing/hedge accordingly. 

-Provide NY with colour on client flows, client views and expected demand. 

-Develop trade ideas and market across Asia

-Improve market share and contribute to Electronic platforms
