Finance Settlements Specialist  

Location: Solihull; a flexible hybrid working model which supports you as well as enabling you to work collaboratively with your colleagues

Contract: Full-time, 12-month Fixed Term

The Role

As an integral part of ensuring we pay our partners in accordance with set terms, you will be responsible for compiling, processing and settling company partnership payments, dealing with statement enquiries and the reclaim of commissions and cancellation of agreements. 

You will work as part of close-knit team, and you will be adept at working with limited supervision. Most importantly, you will be a fast-learner, quickly mastering new systems and processes and supporting the launch of a new settlement engine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compilation of settlement items daily, ensuring all processes and procedures involved are completed
  • Completing and responding to statement enquiries from retailers, brokers and dealers
  • Preparation of monthly commission settlements and statements
  • Completing daily reconciliations and checks
  • Identify operational issues with the Treasury Operations Manager within current processes and support changes and improvements, ensuring adequate controls are in place
  • Complete settlement related reports as required.

Skills & Attributes

  • A-Levels or equivalent/Studying for AAT or equivalent
  • High level of problem solving and attention to detail
  • Strong Excel skills and numeracy
  • Experience of working in Settlement/experience of CODA
  • Quickly learns and adapts to new processes and procedures
