The Role
You will be conducting a mix of appraisal and valuation work throughout the South West and South Wales, predominantly for loan security purposes but also for accounts and a variety of other purposes. This will include valuing a range of commercial, mixed-use and residential properties and building on the team’s significant reputation in the industry.
Responsibilities
• Manages existing client relationships on a day-to-day basis
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of commercial, mixed use and residential properties to determine their Market Value.
• Analyse market trends, property sales, and economic factors to inform valuations and provide clients with accurate reports.
• Prepare detailed valuation reports, including methodologies used, findings, and recommendations for clients, lenders, or legal purposes.
• Liaise with clients, including property owners, investors, and financial institutions, to understand their needs and provide expert advice on property valuation.
• Can work independently to prepare standard reports, valuations, submissions and on more complex issues with guidance.
• Ensure all valuations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Stay updated on market trends, valuation techniques, and changes in property legislation.

Qualifications
• Educated to degree level
• MRICS
• RICS Registered Valuer
Skills/Experience
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrable record of delivery in the UK Real Estate market within a consultancy or transactional background
• Good analytical skills
• Preferred knowledge of Argus Enterprises or other valuation software (training available)
• Microsoft package proficient
