Position Purpose
Within the FRESH entity, OFS NEO project team is to completely overhaul the Group's Finance platform, One Financial System (OFS), which manages the accounting of more than 70% of the bank's entities. The construction of this new generation of financial platform, which will take place over several years, is a key challenge for the Finance and RISK professions. This is a. unique opportunity to participate in an ambitious and exciting project!
Position involves in the design and development of the OFS NEO product within an agile squad and in coherence with the architecture and design patterns defined by the Technical Leader.
Position is part of a multidisciplinary team (architects, developers, analysts, production teams, etc.) that will operate in agile and iterative mode, from design to deployment. The team is made up of about fifty people and will interact with a wide range of stakeholders within the IT and business community
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
· Analyze and interpret requirement specifications received from Business analysts.
· Participate with BA to ensure correct understanding and implementation of specifications.
· Work in collaboration with the Business analyst of the project to meet the client’s expectations.
· Take charge of the development work according to the priorities defined by the product owner.
· Propose technical solutions adapted to the business needs, develop technical requirements
· Design and develop IT solutions based on the specifications received.
· Packaging and deployment on non-production environments and monitor production releases & deployments
· Participate in the testing support (system, user acceptance, regression…) .
· Bring a high level of quality in developments, in terms of maintainability, testability and performance
· Participate in code reviews set up within the program.
Contributing Responsibilities
· Participate in transversal, capability building efforts for the bank.
· Implementation of best practices, coding & development cultures
· Work closely as “one team” with all stakeholders jointly to provide high quality delivery
· Work on data-driven issues, innovative technologies (Java 17 or 21 with Quarkus Framework, Kubernetes, Kogito) and in the Finance & Risk functional areas.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Mandatory technical skills:
· Strong technical expertise with proven practice of Java: minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java development
· Excellent capabilities on Spring framework
· Extended knowledge of REST API, SQL and relational databases
· Fluency with modern toolchains and DevOps tools, including at minimum Git and Jenkins
· Excellent practice of unit testing with Junit (knowledge of TDD or BDD methodologies is a plus)
· Understanding of secure developments best practices
Additional technical skills:
· Knowledge of Quarkus framework
· Expertise on microservice architecture with Docker and Kubernetes
· Experience on performant data-driven systems with high volumes.
· Automated acceptance testing tools: cucumber, selenium.
· Other DevOps tools: Sonar, Artifactory, Ansible, Jira
