(Junior) Fund Accountant in Reporting Team
Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in financial operations for Specialist Position; or preferably up to 1 of year experience for Junior Position
- University degree in Finance, Economics or similar; we are open for graduates or students with ability to work full time for Junior Position
- Understanding of bookkeeping principles and fund accounting;
- Great communication skills. Knowledge of English at minimum B2 level
- Strong organizational with ability to work with deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details;
- Accountability and client focused mindset;
- Proficient command of MS Office (proficient knowledge of Excel);
- Knowledge of Bloomberg/Reuters will be an advantage;
Responsibilities:
As a member of Fund Accounting Reporting Team, you will be responsible for delivering Net Asset Value related reporting requirements, in particular:
- Preparing and reviewing monthly trustee / control packs for open ended funds;
- Investigating queries from internal and external parties, providing justification or backups supporting accounting records;
- Calculating and reviewing effective yields on bonds held in portfolio as well as fee accruals;
- Reconciling cash balances between Fund Accounting records and Custody in order to recognize, investigate and justify any discrepancies;
- Actively participating in cross-trainings, calls and meetings with the team and internal parties - for Specialist Position
