About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide specialist analysis and reporting to our Flex department at Arval.
In this role you will be working alongside the Fleet Manager, team of specialists to define management information to facilitate decisions involving the purchasing of new, existing and disposal of stock.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Be the go to expert for matters pertaining to commercial activity such as invoicing, stock management and pricing at department level, and provide key input into management decisions
• Work cross functionally with internal departments such as Finance, Product and Pricing to ensure a joined up approach with analysis and escalate commercial matters when appropriate.
• Own, develop and maintain all reporting requirements so that management information is delivered on time, in the most efficient manner with the right level of quality.
• Ensure on time payments to suppliers
• Work to targets and deadlines and be able to manage own time and prioritise tasks to meet and exceed such targets and deadlines.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone who has a high attention to detail, is able to demonstrate creativity and problem solving, and has good organisational skills needed to maintain their own reports and inform the team of any trends or issues.
You’ll also be able to demonstrate:
- Able to demonstrate an understanding or experience of cost and benefit analysis
- Strong analytical skills with good experience of interpreting and producing high quality, accurate and meaningful management information
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication skills
The package
We offer a basic starting salary of up to £40,000, plus a bonus of up to £1,900. We also offer 25 days holiday as standard, plus bank holidays, an extra day off for your birthday, and the option to purchase an additional 5 days.
