BNP Paribas EMEA Finance employs 500 employees, of which more than 325 are based in Madrid. We manage more than 250 BNP Paribas entities from all over Europe, covering +60% of Group’s balance sheet and all group’s banking activities (Corporate & Investment Banking, Retail Banking, Personal Finance and other financial services activities…).
Our mission is to measure, control and explain all the financial indicators required to monitor accounting, tax, regulatory, liquidity, credit risk reporting and management result activities.
ABOUT THE JOB
MISSION
Team: Financial Reporting - Liquidity. it´s integrated within EMEA Finance department belonging to Finance and Strategy function of BNP Paribas group.
The team has as mains mission and objectives to produce financial reporting and provide all synthesis and analysis required to manage the Liquidity Reporting of BNP Paribas EMEA entities, as well as to ensure the control and the reliability of financial data required to produce the Liquidity reporting including segmentation, in coordination with the Group / Business Lines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Main duties are:
- Assist the team to perform the controls in place as well as support the documentation update.
- Assist the team to deliver the reports requested by the group.
- Assist in identifying operational process improvements in production, control procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Studies
- Attending Business school, preferably focusing on Financial Accounting or Finance.
- English Advanced
- French and other European languages a plus.
SKILLS
- Microsoft package : Excel, Power Point, Word.
- Financial accounting basic knowledge is a plus.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to learn new systems and products quickly.
- Self-starter and team player, able to work independently and collaboratively.
