About the job
The OPC(Operational and Permanent Control) Analyst operates the Control framework relating to all operational risks, including Fraud, Third Party, Conduct, Compliance, Regulatory, Information & Communication Technology risks, and others risks types. OPC is responsible for the deployment of internal policies and procedures issued by specialize independent control functions part of Risk teams, and for the compliance with external regulatory and supervisory requirements.
Your main activities are
- Identify Risks and Controls in liaison with the managers
- Manage potential & historical incidents
- Organize and manage procedures
- Control and articulate related action plans
- Deploy the Control Plan, and coordinate the implementation of operational controls
- Track the controls with KPI's
- Follow-up the recommendations of Audit functions
- Contribute to the governance relative to Operational Risk
- Be the key point of contact of Risk ORM
- Make sure that control tools Beacon and Risk 360 are updated on a timely manner
- Contribute to the Finance Operational Risks Control Committee
- Deliver KPIs
Profile and skills to success
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economy or any similar areas
- Fluency in English both spoken and written
- At least 5 years' experience in Finance Department and in Finance Controls or Operational Permanent Control role
- Experience using Microsoft Office Tools, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
- Strong analysis capacity, rigor and accuracy, dynamism, autonomy, organization and responsibility
- Capacity to work under pressure and adapt to a fast pace environment

Our mission is to cover all aspects related to accounting, performance management, tax and invoicing in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring - among several other aspects - that BNP Paribas' financial statements are in compliance with the Portuguese legislation, and providing support for management decisions. Besides the local business of the branch, we provide a dedicated support to all the hosted services, namely in what concerns tax and tax invoicing.
