The position at a glance
The role of the position is to act as a transversal project manager for all FIP projects. The goal of the position is to structure and to maintain all FIP project plans and ensure that project deadlines are met.
In detail
- The FIP project manager will coordinate with various stakeholders which are in various locations (Paris, Madrid, Lisbon, NYC, Mumbai, Montreal).
- The role will also support the FIP business analyst in their local coordination with users (Finance, back office) during the testing phase of their projects.
- The role will also monitor the FIP project portfolio, analyze its KPIs and drive prioritization and arbitration of projects.
- Lastly, the FIP project manager will monitor transversal risks across business, regulatory and strategic projects.
The strengths and skills that will help you succeed
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accouting or related field.
- At least 5 years in similar role in a large and complex financial company/consulting firm.
- Analytical skills, curiosity, ability to understand technical details as well as the bigger picture.
- Ability to structure, simplify and popularize technical details.
- Knowledge of the Financial industry is a plus.
- Management consulting experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a multi-location, multicultural environment.
- Excellent communications skills, ability to speak at various levels of the hierarchy.
- Given the vast majority of our clients, both internal and external, are based outside of Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply. Knowledge of the English is required.
