Position Purpose
Asset Portfolio Management (APM) is a process, which acts as an enabler for the highest management to take informed decisions regarding the plan for applications concerned.
APAC APM spoc will be responsible for maintaining and driving the APAC application portfolio, the role will work closely with the APAC CIB CIO and the respective business line CIO’s in supporting them maintain and manage the portfolio of applications under their accountability and ownership.
This position is for a person to work in the capacity of Asset Management professional who is able to liaison with different senior stakeholders with a good understanding of APM and able to resolve functional issues and steer conversation towards resolution.
The candidate is expected to have a strong functional understanding of the CIB business and domains, with a strategic orientation towards transformation and alignment to the group strategy towards Cloud, API adoption, decommissioning and rationalization, Vulnerabilities and Obsolescence and TCO (Total cost of ownership) management. The candidate must demonstrate strong project management skills and autonomy in driving projects with an experience in working with senior leadership in a bank.
This role will be part of the APAC CIO IT Architecture and will be directly reporting to the Head of APAC CIB IT architecture.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
Define, drive and deliver the APM portfolio governance for APAC which includes
Ø Steer and govern the APAC quarterly APM governance meeting along with the regional and cluster CIO’s
Ø Maintain the inventory of applications under APAC CIO scope
o Applications Owned and Serviced by CIB
o Ensure data quality and governance.
o Application portfolio and cluster allocation and ownership. Application manager – IT and Non IT application ownership and governance.
o Track and manage the CIO region and ownership of applications.
Ø Decommissioning roadmap and strategy - Maintain and follow up the decommissioning roadmap and planning for APAC
o Define roadmap for Non-strategic applications.
Ø Maintain and follow Cloud strategy, KPI’s and governance working together with the Cloud program lead.
Ø Maintain and follow API first strategy, KPI’s and governance working together with the API program lead.
Ø Maintain and follow Devsecops strategy, KPI’s and governance working together with the Cloud program lead.
Ø Support project teams in new application oboarding in GoldenApp workflow.
Ø ITVC support
Ø TCO review and build matrix for applications and clusters.
o Total TCO for APAC applications.
Ø Review APM data – Inventory, Infrastructure and usage and review opportunities for cost optimization.
Ø Generate various status reports, gap analysis documentation and dashboards for monitoring and tracking.
