Job Title: Associate, Research Analyst
Location: 787 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10019
Duties: Assist the senior analyst on building, reviewing and maintaining financial models, analyzing company and industry data, building investment thesis, and publishing investment-driven research reports. Draft and publish earnings notes, deep-dive reports, and quick takeaways on time-sensitive developments of covered and other relevant companies. Attend corporate meetings, investor conferences, and analyst days, and utilize the available resources to make analysis and form investment recommendations with senior analyst. Assist the senior analyst to communicate investment recommendations through participating in client meetings, provide deliverables on client inquiries, as well as work internally with corporate access, salesforce and traders. *Telecommuting permitted 20%: work may be performed in any location in the U.S.
SALARY: $179,088.00 USD to $200,000.00 USD/ year
Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related and two (2) years of experience in job offered or related role OR Master's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related and one (1) year of experience in job offered or related role. Must have one (1) year of experience with: Analyzing and understanding company financial reports; Using market data tools (Bloomberg); Performing financial modeling, stock analysis and valuation in Excel; Producing in depth research reports and preparing presentations; Proficient in quantitative analysis such as financial ratios and valuation methods; Accounting knowledge and deep understanding on how the financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow) are related to each other; Understanding macroeconomic trends and its implications to the coverage universe; and Provide takeaways and read throughs on relevant Asia companies and China macro news. FINRA Licenses: SIE, 86 (or passing level 1 and 2 of the CFA exam), and 87.
