Sunna Design’s core business is road lighting. 1.3 billion people have no access to electricity, with little chance of being eventually connected to the grid, especially in rural areas. Sunna provides public lighting, a first lever of electrification, with a real impact on economic and social daily life. BNP Paribas is bringing “late venture capital” to Sunna Design and is investing 3 million euros to help Sunna Design to continue Research & Development into solar energy and expand its presence in the intertropical developing worlds.
