BNP Paribas SA signed a four year agreement at company level in favour of employing disabled persons, which came into effect retroactively on January 1st, 2008.
Further to the Convention signed in 2007 with the AGEFIPH (Association de Gestion du Fonds pour l'Insertion Professionnelle des Personnes Handicapées), this new agreement becomes integrated into BNP Paribas' approach against discrimination and openness to diversity and its commitment taken within the framework of the Charter of the Diversity signed in 2004.
This agreement gives the bank the means to develop an action corresponding to the company's project, which promotes the recruitment of disabled persons and the launching of sensitive actions while optimizing the preservation in the employment and the resort to the services of the protected or adapted sector.
BNP Paribas expresses its will to implement a voluntary policy in favour of the employment of handicapped persons and their insertion via specialized establishments.
